Performing together for as long as Oliver and Clara can remember, the Neubauer/McDermott Family Quartet has mesmerized audiences with their dynamic and exuberant artistry. They have appeared at Parlance Chamber Concerts, Lake Champlain Music Festival, Art in Avila in Curaçao, Bravo! Vail, If Music Be the Food NYC, and Music from Angel Fire. Recently, they performed virtual “living room concerts” for Jan Vogler’s Music Never Sleeps livestream and for Chamber Music Northwest’s virtual summer festival. They will also open Music@Menlo’s 2020 virtual summer festival “Intermezzo” with Clara’s arrangement of Elgar’s “Salut D’Amour”. The ensemble takes “quartet living” to the extreme; in an approach that some might call unusual, the quartet eats most of their meals together, plays games together, and even lives together.

But where’s the cello?

It’s true…we unfortunately lack a cellist within our immediate family. In spite of this shortcoming, however, we have discovered and arranged a number of fantastic works for this unusual ensemble! Click here to see our full list of repertoire:
